Point Peron Boat Ramp Finger Jetties Redevelopment
Point Peron Boat Ramp Finger Jetties Redevelopment
Date Published: 25/06/2012
Works will commence on the Point Peron Boat Ramp Finger Jetties Redevelopment in July 2012 and completion is scheduled for September 2012.
The works will incorporate the removal of the existing timber jetties and the design and installation of three Piled Floating Jetty Systems in accordance with Australian Standard design and specification, providing for universal access to all ramps.
The ramp will remain partially operational and available for public use for the duration of the project. However, there will be some disruption and the City apologises for any short-term inconvenience.
These works are essential to the ongoing improvement and upgrading of the City's marine infrastructure to meet the needs of boat owners and improve access to the coast.
For more information about the project, please telephone the City’s Coastal Engineering Officer on 9528 0423, during normal business hours.
