Local News. Helicopters scooping up water from the Harrington Waters Estate

We had a bit of fun today watching the helicopters scoop up water from the Harrington Waters Estate towards Warnbro Western Australia, Just of the main highway heading towards Mandurah Western Australia..

I was suspired to see it was all happing so quickly, my kids thought it was great and had no idea on what was going on, but to the east of the main highway you could see the smoke and flames coming from the bush. The bush land is home to many people and animals. it was good to see that things were well and truley on their way to putting out the fire.
Their were up to 3 to 5 helicopters scooping for water from the lake and the odd plane or two flying around. all access on the main highway was blocked for some time. We were luckey to get into the Harrington Waters Estate along with all the other people who came down to take a few images of what was going on down here today.
