Penguin Island - Mersey Point

Penguin Island Where is it ?
50 kilometers south of Perth, Western Australia
Traveling time takes about a 40 minute drive from central Perth. You can get further directions by phoning Penguin and Seal Island Cruises on ( 08 ) 9528 2004 or by email from their site for further information.

Penguin Island is open to the public during the hours of operation only.No barbecue or kiosk facilities are available on the island. Caves, cliffs and overhanges are prone to occasional collapse. keep to walk trails and beaches please.

Mersey Point can be found at the end of Safey Bay road. Penguin Island can be access from here, Please remember to book your tickets from the Penguin and Seal Island Cruises, 153 Arcandia Drive Shoalwater 6169 Western Australia or you can visit their home page here Penguin Island

If your coming by bus, you can catch the bus from Rockingham Bus station and hop onto the bus number 113 or 114 from Rockingham Bus station as this will take very close to Mersey Point Kiosk.

The sand bar at Mersey Point is dangerous , Lives have been lost. beware strong rips and currents occur in the area. Water depths and conditions vary and change rapily.
