Warning Tiger snakes are dangerously venomous
Tiger snakes are found in the lower half of Western Australia and
are particularly
thick in the lower half of the South West in Western Australia and
they are dangerously venomous
Tiger Snakes are primarily black in colour and the Western version
found here is distinguished by it's yellow bands on it's underbelly.
The tiger snake venom is not as toxic as other snakes found but it
still has a potentially life threatening venom and has killed a number
humans though out Australia over the past few years.
Tiger snakes are said to have a good grip and you will know about
it when bitten, tiger snakes are found around Lake Richmond so caution
should be exercised when walking along the open grass at Lake Richmond,
