Eric and Annette Maddock took over the West Coast Tackle business in February 2004. Experience is crucial when it comes to fishing, so with 30 years fishing experience behind him, Eric is the person to see for ocean-related needs.

The shop is open from 7am to 6pm daily (including Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays), and until 8pm on Thursdays. We carry a wide range of Halco lures, Penn, Okuma, Abu Garcia, Jarvis Walker and Tica rods and reels, Mustad and Penn hooks, a variety of mono and braided lines, a wide range of terminal tackle, and all the bait you could need.

Eric will also custom build a rod to your requirements using quality blanks such as Sabre, Pacific Composite and Snyderglass. Livefibre blanks and rods available soon, along with a limited stock of gps’ and fish finders. Rod and reel repairs are also a part of our service to you at very reasonable rates.

We will happily take telephone enquiries and orders. Arrangements can be made to send items via courier or mail if you can’t get to us.

If we don’t stock what you want – we will do our utmost to get it in for you.

We accept payment by Visa, Master Card, Bankcard and EFTpos facilities are also available. Cheques accepted by prior arrangement.
